Important Upcoming Dates
Think Big Celebration Weekend - May 16/17, 2009 at Keystone Church

Keystone Family,

It’s hard to believe that we have already been in our current location for over two years.  So much has happened in that short time, yet it still seems like yesterday that we had 70 people in my home.  I vividly remember setting up and tearing down at Hillwood Middle School, and meeting in a “cafetorium” while our little ones enjoyed their tents in the gym!

One of the sweetest memories I have of those years in the school occurred on May 21, 2006.  On that date, we took the biggest risk we had ever taken as a church.  We launched our THINK BIG journey.  We joined together to do whatever it took to make God’s dreams for Keystone Church a reality.

Now, three years later, we are experiencing that initial dream God had for us.  Countless marriages have been saved & lives changed.  We’ve grown from 514 on that day to over 1600 this Easter!  We’ve seen over 250 people accept Jesus as their Saviour, 160 people follow Jesus’ example of baptism, while hundreds of others have joined the Keystone family.

My prayer for us now is that we affirm God’s hand on Keystone by finishing out THINK BIG with MIGHTY MOMENTUM!  We are currently $130,000 away from reaching the one million dollar commitment from the original families who thank really big.  It isn’t too late for anyone to join us in this journey that provides for us to impact lives.

I know that God continuues to have tremendous  plans and dreams for us. F inishing strong on Think Big is key to seeing those dreams become a reality.  During the current series, Losing My Religion, we are going to spend some time talking about Think Big, its impact on Keystone and some exciting plans for the conclusion of this journey and beyond.

I have some exciting news to share as God has already started revealing to me some of his dreams for Keystone in the future.  I encourage each of you to be a part of what God will be doing during the next few weeks.

As we near the Anniversary of Think Big, I ask each of you to join Susan and me in prayer.  Just like we did three years ago, I again want to encourage each of us to go before God and ask the simple question, “What do you want me to do to make your dreams for this church a reality?”   If we all pray that prayer together, there’s no limit to what God can do.

Let’s make history TOGETHER!

What is Think Big?
Think Big is a journey that Keystone began three years ago. As a church, we collectively asked God what he would have each of us do to make his dreams for Keystone Church a reality. On May 21, 2006, the members of Keystone pledged to give one million dollars above and beyond our tithe to allow us to renovate and move in to our current home. We are now finalizing and celebrating the conclustion of  that three-year commitment.
