ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is to maintain and repair a wide variety of building systems, equipment, and components in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Keystone Campus. This includes performing preventative maintenance, responding to service requests, and troubleshooting and repairing building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The Building Maintenance Technician also performs general maintenance tasks such as painting, minor carpentry and plumbing repairs, and minor janitorial duties. This role is also responsible for working closely and leading a team and assisting the Build Operations Manager ensuring the building is ‘Event Ready’ based upon the Keystone Calendar.

Hours
Sunday: 7am-1:30pm
Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm
*Event responsibilities may include “On Call” for Special Events held throughout the calendar year.
DUTIES
- Perform regular inspections of building systems to ensure they are operating correctly
- Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Install and repair drywall, carpentry, or other building components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems to ensure they are running smoothly.
- Repair or replace broken or damaged equipment and components.
- Respond to emergency repair requests to ensure proper functioning of building systems.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Report to Manager any major maintenance needs.
- Assist Manager with Access Control to the building, as needed.
- Assemble furniture/equipment as needed.
- Coordinate work with subcontractors when needed.
- Set up and tear down for events.
- Maintain full confidentiality of church, staff and guests.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
Requirements
- Knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to identify and repair facility equipment and systems
- Proficiency in using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
