Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating original media content for Keystone Church print, screen, and collateral projects.  This person will be the driving force behind all of Keystone Church’s design and should have a passion to use design to accomplish our mission of loving people where they are and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus.

General Requirements

You will be responsible for creating compelling design and visuals for digital, web, print and social media.

You will take these projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You are required to be highly skilled in Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator, with additional related skills and abilities.

You will maintain the highest quality of all collateral and actively seek to continually improve the production processes with unique and one of a kind designs.

Must-Haves

• Provides graphic design and layout for internal church-wide digital and print materials including: weekly, ongoing, monthly, and seasonal marketing deliverables, announcements insert, e-blasts, website content updates, logos, news magazine, annual church events and worship services collateral, ministry guides.
• Develop print design and layouts for external marketing deliverables, including: signage, billboards, banners, social media posts, brochure, flyers and merchandise.
• Helps review, proof and edit content for layout.
• Provides creative support, collaboration and consultation to all ministry areas with thoughtful, engaging and effective deliverables.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), WordPress or equivalent content management system (CMS), HTML and ability to work on Mac and PC platforms (Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers, PowerPoint/Keynote).
• Must be collaborative, creative, show design initiative and innovation, be able to meet deadlines, have strong communications skills (verbal and written), and have a keen eye for detail and editorial/visual design care.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to changing or competing priorities; able to manage multiple demands; open minded, and continually seeking new ways to grow personally and professionally; driven to succeed and have a “can-do” attitude.
• Design advertising pieces for church events and sermon series including signage, web graphics, screens, weekly program, email headers and other projects as needed.
• Design and ensure the update and maintenance of web graphics, sliders and event sign ups.
• Design invitations, weekly programs and flyers, as needed.
• Work with printers and schedule jobs for print, as needed.
• Organize files and prepare them for print and web use properly.
• Strong attention to details and timelines. 
• Portfolio of creative work

Nice-To-Haves

Preferably a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Design advertising pieces for church events and sermon series including signage, web graphics, screens, weekly program, email headers and other projects as needed.
• Design and ensure the update and maintenance of web graphics, sliders and event sign ups.
• Design invitations, weekly programs and flyers, as needed.
• Work with printers and schedule jobs for print, as needed.

• Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal, etc).
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other departments and staff members.
